Return of the mac

I had a Mac from Mango for ages I had some good years out of it.

And had trouble finding one to replace it..

It got replaced this xmas by a Banana Republic beauty.

I have seen an influx of Macs about and here are some of my faves and a picture of mine.

I am particularly fond of the mint green sleeveless Burberry specimen, not overly practical but if I had to wear a pastel green Mac.....

The Princess & The Frog

Being a BIG Disney fan I am very excited to see that the Frog Princess will be being released 29th Jan 10'! I first saw the ad for this in Hollywood! This is well overdue and very welcome!

Touch of Goude

It finally arrived!! I am so happy!! I have been pouring over this book for the whole day showing and telling anyone that would listen.


This is my all time favourite campaign EVER. I love every single detail of every window display, billboard and advert. I would not have changed a single thing about any of the pictures. The book includes preliminary sketches and inspirations - I have shown a few interesting examples but I don’t think I could ever pick a favourite!

In my mind he is a genius.

I was happy to hear it was going to be 6 Degrees today....in honour I wore a skirt and subsequently froze!!

Holiday Packing

My Friend Frida gave me the gift of one of the bags she designed, I adore it! so as I have been packing and trying on my outfits for Morocco, it dawned on me that it is the perfect bag to go with all my pastels and nudes that I have been storing up ready for spring. The weather forecast looks good in Marrakech. I just hope it is warm enough to wear a camisole or two! If not I found an adorable long striped blazer, which I am looking forward to clashing with everything (It also looks suspiciously like a certain Diane Von Furstenberg one I have been lusting after)

The bag is made from soft leather and so smells amazing and is super comfy to hold, I am wearing it as a clutch in the pictures but it also come with an adorable gold chain so you can wear it on your shoulder or across the body. Definatly a staple!

Flying away on a jet plane.

So I am soon to be leaving grim London and visiting Morocco with my girly, I just can't wait. Being a huge sensory person it has always been a dream to go there and take in the sights, smells, taste and customs of this part of Africa.

I will be staying in the thick of it in a traditional Riad. I will be visiting the YSL Gardens and hopefully going to get a good eyefull of the Atlas Mountains and reveling in the Moroccan interiors.

You know when you feel you have a certain piece of creativity within you that will only be released once you have seen certain things or been to certain places? thats how I feel about Morocco. Like it will conjour up some dark exotic piece of my creativity, add something to my thoughts. Places have a way of doing that to me......

All in all I am super excited to finally be visiting the home of Princess Jasmine and Aladdin who knows I might even find a magic carpet!!

Summer Holidays

So I have started to mull over where I would like to go this year, and have decided on my Italian destination.

Over the last couple of years I have been too, Rome, Venice, Milan, The Mountains (Italian Alps) Tuscany (Pisa, Cinque Terre, Perugia etc)

I have decided I would like to take a trip further South specifically the Amalfi Coast and I would like to sail it.

It looks beautiful and I have never had a boat holiday before so it would be super exciting!!!

Hey isn't that where George Clooney lives?? I wonder if he would make me an expresso!

Trainers but not for training

So I have purchased my first pair of trainers in about 5 years. My last pair were pink embroidered Nike Rifts can you remember rifts?

I have ordered some converse hi top lites and I think they are just what I have been looking for...

They are very narrow and thin not as chunky as the normal converse which always look like clown shoes on me.

Most importantly they are super reasonable at just 39.99 and for kicks that I would only wear to travel and pop to the supermarche I wouldnt want to spend a bomb. I will be interested to see if I will be converted.

Art Installation - E1

Today London is bitterly cold as it has been for the few weeks. I headed down to Spitalfields thinking it would be quiet but it was as buzzing as ever! They have a cute (but strange) installation over there at the moment. (will post pics later)

Yesterday I had my hair comfort braided by my auntypie. I always feel youthful and safe when I have French braids, I really cant explain it but anyway I am loving it.

I am hopefully going to NY soon and think I will have to dig out my fur!!!! Which always reminds me of that SATC episode where Samantha gets attacked by animal rights activist outside of Mercedes Fashion Week.

Roll on Spring!!!

Well after wishing you all a Happy New Year, I thought I would kick off with a post I have been wanting to do for a while now! If you have not heard, read, seen all about this or etched the date in your mind then (whats wrong with you?) no hehe The first thing to look forward to this year is the SATC movie part Deux YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY The girls have been super busy filming and I really hope, upon hope that it is as good as the first. I wont be putting up any images or spoilers as I want to save the anticipation but here is the latest trailer.

Fun @ the V&A

Fun fun fun! my "talk" turned out to be a full on fashion show - Fantastic just doesn't cut it! the only thing I am upset about is that I could not get better images than those I did his creations were exquisite. The ushers wore super cute V&A fasinators and I had much fun in the V&A shop!

Impressed by the Becks!

I actually really like her new range! I love what she has done on the Net-a-Porter website and I really love her promotional video featuring Ballerinas! I must say, surprisingly she is going from strength to strength... You go girl!!

Not only is it a well shot and interesting ad! it also shows that the crotch is not going to split as soon as you bend over, there is no sagging bulging or tearing....that's impressive! My favourites have to be the very light coloured ones with the zip on the inside of the calf!

I NEED to work for this company!!!
