The V & A rocks baroque

I defiantly want to catch the Baroque 1620-1800 exhibit. I love the furniture and clothes from that era and i think i will be able to get a lot of inspiration.I defiantly want to catch the Baroque 1620-1800 I love the furniture and clothes form that era and I think I will be able to get a lot of inspiration.
While I was at the Mad Hatters party I had a look at the other exhibits around the museum I stumbled upon an Asia section with great vintage jewels and intricately embellished gowns.

Mine!

I bought my web address this week cremedelatrend.com is now officially mine! it's great because now I dont have to print up cards with my hotmail address and blush everytime I give out my details because I chose such an silly email address all those years ago.

Could this be the start of my new empire??? I hope so! watch this face!

Saturday night in Windsor

This weekend I travelled up to see my good friend Lauryn who was
celebrating her engagement to the lovely Joe. We had a really good night (first time I have been out in ages) I bravely tried out my new Nars Lip stain and gloss duo and actually really liked it!!! I have always been scared of reds but this one seems to be the perfect shade. Just made sure I went easy on the eye make up so i didnt look tooo 80's!!!

Mad Hatters

Tonight I went the the V&A for the French Connection Friday Late Bonnet Parade. I wore my vintage hat which was dated to the 1950's.
There were many so many nice hats being worn, I took photos of some of my favourites.
I visited the Hat Dressing Booth and met a new friend from Royal Milliner John Boyd (she dated my hat) and kindly dressed my head and gave me advice on what suits me and my oval face. We picked out this uber OTT pink number which of course I fell in love with immediately.
I wore my new Japanese denim skinnys sheer blouse, Kurt Geiger bow shoes, Gucci bag and vintage hat. I had so much fun. As well as talks and a paper bonnet parade, there was a "pimp my cap" event a hat re-fashioning workshop (I steered clear of that one with my precious) and a mad hatters tea party.
I picked up a Ophelie feather headband hat & a book on vintage Tiaras :0) every princess should have one!

With thanks and lots of love to my beloved Lizzy Bee who sent me the info on this event!

How could I forget?

My new Vivienne Tam laptop.....
(shown on an A4 piece of paper)
It is really light and easy to carry. The built in wireless is a god send, only negative is the lack of a DVD drive. On the plus it has many USB slots and a slot for my SD (camera memory card) to go directly into it. I just bought a small external DVD drive which I can easily carry along with the laptop, mouse, my paper work and a Vogue in a standard size laptop bag
I would give this girlie gadget an 11/10 :0)

Finally found them stocked on ASOS after at least 2 days of hunting!

Wish I could have got both colours buts that just being greedy!
Shoes by Steve Madden £69.00 @ ASOS
Shoes by YSL Approx £ 650.00

Not usually a big fan of patterned tights however as per usual Mr McQueen has bought me round to his way of thinking with these lovelies.
Of course i love the fact that he has called them "Eiffel Tower"
Eiffel Tower Leggings by Alexander McQueen - £95.00

Birthday list begins....

Yes my birthday is in July and yes I am bugging everyone about it already :0) Ring by Gara Danielle £120

A little luxury?

Getting quite a cult following is beauty line Belmacz, created by Jeweller Julie Muggenburg.
She has Incorporated gold leaf and pearl powder into beauty products.
I have the gold leaf lip gloss in Ruby winging its way to me :0)
Will let you know if it is worth the £19 price tag.
Personally I love the idea of wearing real gold as make up rather than jewellery!
