Colour Me Candy

Well hello there!!

I have been busy like you would not believe! I have been missing my blog terribly! (and I hope you all have!)
Let’s get started!
Desperately desperate for spring!! I have been painting my nails in all sorts of candy colours and abandoning my OPI black cherry staple in favour of a few up beat shades! I posted about button moon and now I have found the perfect candy lilac.. I also found a Models Own colour that looks sneakily like that certain sold out Chanel shade...

I also bought a sweet swing bag! I love the colour and it reminds me so much of my trip to Morocco...

I have been given tiny origami creatures.....

More Exibitions!

Seen as I posted about Kensington, I had to post about my favourite London exibition space aswell!!

The V&A will be having a Grace Kelly Exibition showing her dress collection and more titled "Dressing a Hollywod Princess"!

I will be there face pressed against the glass sighing heavily!!

Info from the site below.

The spectacular wardrobe of Grace Kelly will be on display at the V&A. Tracing the evolution of her style from her days as one of Hollywoods most popular actresses in the 1950s and as Princess Grace of Monaco, the display will present over 50 of Grace Kelly's outfits together with hats, jewellery and the original Hermès Kelly bag. Dresses from her films, including High Society, will be shown as well as the gown she wore to accept her Oscar award in 1955. These will be accompanied by film clips and posters, photographs and her Oscar statuette. The display will also include the lace ensemble worn by Grace Kelly for her civil marriage ceremony to Prince Rainier in 1956 and 35 haute couture gowns from the 1960s and 70s by her favourite couturiers Dior, Balenciaga, Givenchy, and Yves St Laurent

Enchanted Princess

Hello!!!!

I had to do this post, but am super busy so excuse the briefness! get yourself down to Kensington Palace for the Enchanted Exibition. Featuring installations from Vivienne Westwood, William Tempest, Stephen Jones, Boudicca, Aminaka Wilmont and Echo Morgan.

It opens tomorrow and in May they will have special evening openings! I will be going at the weekend AND in may.

Nothing in the world matches regal evenings!!
Find info below from the site

Kensington Palace is being transformed. As the walls of the palace are being shaken by a £12 million renovation project the rubble and the dust is unleashing powerful and secret stories about the lives of Kensington's princesses.
At the heart of the Enchanted Palace journey is a quest for the seven princesses who once lived here. Their lives have been re-imagined as installations offering a fascinating interpretation of the palace’s hidden stories. The rebellious princess who ran from an arranged marriage into the arms of love. Sad queens who bore the pain and sadness of lost babies. The young heir to the throne who escaped the controlling grasp of her overprotective mother.

Visitors must use their eyes and ears to find clues that reveal the identity of the elusive royal residents. Guided by an enchanted map, the advice of obliging palace guardians and a few helping hands, their search will take them to all the hidden corners of the State Apartments and lead them to a glittering finale where they will at last meet the princesses face to face.

Bringing the Enchanted Palace to life are the palace guardians, our expert front of house team and professional actors, who provide a personal insight into the strange world of the palace.

Spellbound fashion

The Enchanted Palace reveals the emotion and drama running through Kensington Palace’s history. Contemporary fashion collides with the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection and real stories from the palace to create stunning installations, fashioned by world famous designers including Vivienne Westwood, William Tempest, Stephen Jones, Boudicca, Aminaka Wilmont and Echo Morgan

I am so excited I feel ill!

FUN!!
