I am considering entering a competition which is being held by TFL
It is to design the new pattern for the seats on the tube.
Even though I have no textile experience, but I thought...why not just give it a go (not to mention the 5,000GBP on offer) I like the idea of a liberty print from the archives, there are so many rules on colour etc I am not sure if that would work!
I will have to sketch it up I think so I will let you know what I come up with!
The public transport seats have always grossed me out actually and I don't know why they don't just make them plastic like the rest of Europe.
