New book I want.

Although I liked Whitney best from the Hills Lauren was a close 2nd!

I liked her style although she is a little to simple (style wise) for me and I would have to funk a few of the outfits up a bit. She is very classic and a cutie too!!

 I will be picking her new book up when its released!

BFI Film Fest

I will be heading off to see a few of these movies for sure! There seems to be a lot of good talent as usual at the film fest. I missed it last year as I was sunning myself in Hawaii!!

About time the had a good drop...I have been over Reiss for a while now but apart from the ridiculous price points things seem to be looking up!!

Giles for Black Swan

Giles Deacon has designed a costume for a performance of  Swan Lake for London Fashion week (Next Year 2011)

The costume belongs to the Black Swan Pas De Deux in the famous story. 

The English National Ballet Senior Principle dancer Elena Glurdjidze looks Beautiful.

The French have Sole.

 French Sole will be holding  Birthday celebrations with a line called "The 1989 Collection" 

Being an 80's baby I like the look of it and will be hunting down the Churchill pictured above!!

The price point is substantially lower than usual at £35-£40 a pair.....

21st - 30th September in stand alone stores!!

Worth a visit.

 Lily Allens sister Sarah Owen will finally be opening her shop Lucy in Disguise in Covent Garden this weekend.

It is a vintage shop stocking many hand picked desirables and boasting a blow dry bar Boys waiting area with PlayStation and comfy chairs (Genius)  and an all day vodka bar (ouch!) you can pick up all the big names and a few unknowns with prices from £80 - £700!

Probably worth avoiding it this weekend but I will probably pop in on Monday night when the crowds have dispersed! And see what they have to offer....

She also has a very nice site. Well done for being spot on trend with the short film.

Roll Call

I really dislike the whole Army theme (probably due to me being around the first time) so the whole cargo thing just leaves me a little dissatisfied.....

However I came across this silk shirt and I could see myself working this with some jeans or cute pants or even a little skater skirt.I am fond of the army colour ways so I guess I will be doing a Shelma spin on Cargo this year!

The goldie camel version is cute also.

Nars mash up

Nars has launched a new range of nail varnish's that are based on Classic Cinema for the autumn.

I chose to go with MASH its a gold khaki and perfect for the camel/light colour palette this autumn.It was a close call with King Kong but I decided KK was a little flashy for every day wear and for £13 I want everyday wearability!

As I have super long nails I have to be really careful with the shades I chose (everyone seems to think my nails are fake anyway) but they have a tendency to look a little talon and 70's like if I wear bold or overly metallic colours :0) I actually loved having long oval nails this summer as everyone kept them short and sweet and of course I hate to follow suit......Also this winter I do think I will be channeling the 70's vibe!

Book signing & fashion's night out.
